She’s reached number one with songs like “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” “I Told You So,” and “Temporary Home” all of which are country songs and among her best singles. Not that Carrie Underwood needs praise, but Oh WOW, what a song So accurate at this point in my life.
With country radio favoring more mainstream songs, it’s easy to see why “Undo It” would be chosen as a single, but Carrie’s already proved that not all songs have to be pop songs. Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2015. She handles the power vocals well but fails to impress with the Lady Gaga-esque “uh-uh-uh-undo it” lines in the chorus. The only thing saving the song from being an absolute mess is Carrie’s vocal performance, which is probably one of the weakest from a brilliant vocal performer. It’s all a bit too much and makes the song one of the least country-flavored Carrie has released. The production is a bit all over the place from the guitar riff in the beginning of the song to the mixture of drums, fiddle, and guitar when the chorus hits.
